Working since 1998 as as installor and later
as a residential and industrial climatization systems import and export Chatron was expanding its market and its work around the country. In 2004 new important decisions and options for the future were made.

New industrial facilities were built in order to improve manufacturing and the development allowing manufacturing of new industrial systems in small units and the development of new solutions , always thinking on the export business.

Nowadays Chatron has got a total area of 5000 m2 including offices, laboratory, development, production and warehouse, in Industrial Area of Rossio in Vale de Cambra, one of the most portuguese industrialised regions ( 40 km south of Oporto).

Chatron produts are developed and manufactured mostly in this new and modern factory unit. Chatron has got all the products to climatization, ventilation, air filters and treatment as well as aluminium and steal acessories to ventilation ducts.

Production
With a centralized management, the production commands comes directly from the trade sector, which sends also a list of the components to the warehouse and it makes available all the accessories available. The production has got a new assembly line, watched 24 h a day by a rigid quality management system.

Quality
The product quality depends on the organizational structure of the company. Therefore Chatron has got a quality system, involving all its sectors, from workers to the final product. The workers and the products evaluation is done by the client. This is our strategy to produce and serve everyone who choose products made by Chatron.

Chatron Laboratory
It experiments and measures all the products or their samples ( depending on the product) before they get to the market. It also tests all the prototypes until they are ready to begin the production.
The Evaporative coolers, the humicool panels and the recovery energy units represent a positive innovation and evolution to energy saving and preservation of the environment.
The growth of Chatron has been shown at the same time as the world wakes up to this new reality which is the environment protection and the reduction of the power comsumption. If we can have the same kind of comfort , spending less energy and not polluting the environment, why don't we? Measurement and Testing

Laboratory - Solar Tubes
Chatron developed a laboratory for tests and measurements of solar tubes produced by the company's factory in Vale de Cambra.
Thus, in addition to its partner laboratories of the German company where the quality of their products are tested and controlled, it is now possible to test all of the equipment in different situations and with widely differing lengths, curves, derivations, etc.
The measurements in tight Darkroom are held at various places and various distances leading to the array of measurement and extrapolation of data to specific applications that we are asked daily.
